Guns Found During Southampton Drug Raid

Two men have been charged after police found firearms in a flat in Southampton.

They were discovered while officers carried out a drugs warrant at an address on Golden Grove in the early hours of Wednesday, October 30th.

The investigation is being led by the Hampshire Major Investigation with support from the dedicated Operation Fortress team.

Three men were arrested and two later charged.

Thomas William Graham, 42, of Golden Grove, and Peter Stanley Castle, 46, of Alder Road, are both accused of conspiring to possess a firearm with intent to endanger life/enable another to do so.

They were remanded in custody to appear at Southampton Magistrates Court on Friday, November 1st.

A 43-year-old man arrested on suspicion of possessing a firearm with intent to endanger life was bailed until February 5 pending further police enquiries.
