Detectives from Waterlooville CID are investigating a robbery that took place at an address in Havant between 8.00pm and 8.45pm on Sunday, February 2, 2014.
At around that time two men wearing balaclavas have broken into a property in Pembury Road and threatened the occupants before demanding cash and jewellery.
The men left with three watches; a Raymond Weil, a Cartier and a Longines, as well as stealing a dark blue Range Rover parked on the driveway. This was abandoned a short while later at the entrance to Pook Lane near Warblington Church.
During the incident one of the victims, a man in his 40s was assaulted. He was treated at Queen Alexandria Hospital for a broken arm.
The first intruder was described as:
A white man
About 6ft tall,
He was wearing a black long sleeved jumper and black trousers/jeans.
The second intruder was described as:
A white man
About 5ft 7ins tall
He was wearing a black long sleeved jumper and grey tracksuit trousers.
Detective Constable Mike Strangeway said: “We are appealing for any witnesses who may have seen the offenders in the area of Pembury Road or Pook Lane, or any suspicious vehicles or persons in the area of Pook Lane at the time of the offence.
"Whilst we are treating this matter very seriously, I’d like to reassure the community that there is no evidence to suggest a wider risk to the general public.
“We would also like to hear from any members of the public or businesses that may have been offered any watches for sale which match those described in this appeal.”
