House Keys Seized By Police In Portsmouth

Police in Portsmouth have seized seven sets of house keys which they believe may have been stolen.

The keys were discovered by police on Monday, April 15 and officers would now like to track down the rightful owners.

PC Dave Shaw from the Fratton Priority Crime team said:

"I would like to hear from anyone in the Portsmouth area that has been the victim of a burglary, or a theft from their car, in which house keys may have been stolen. Most of the sets have distinctive key rings on them so we will be able to eliminate callers if the descriptions don't match over the phone. One of the key rings also has a key for an old style Nissan car."

Anyone who believes the keys may belong to them is asked to contact the Fratton Priority Crime team by phoning 101. Mini-Com users can call the police on 18001 101. Information can be given anonymously by calling the Crimestoppers charity on 0800 555 111.
