Industrial Estate Fire in Fareham

Detectived are appealing for information and witnesses following a fire that happened in The Gardens, Fareham on Monday, March 15.
At about 3am, police were called to the scene to deal with an alarm activation and found a business premises on fire. Hampshire Fire and Rescue Service were called and they attended to the blaze, putting it out. No-one was injured in this incident.
Police secured the scene and the Arson Task Force is currently investigating the circumstances surrounding the fire.
Detective Constable Sarah Ridler said: “We have reason to believe this fire was started deliberately and a scene guard will remain on at the location for as long as is needed to establish how this fire happened. Any information the public can provide may be of great assistance. We would like to hear from anyone who may have seen someone acting suspiciously in the area at the time of the fire. We would also like to hear from anyone with information about those responsible."
