Man And Woman Charged Following Isle of Wight Attack

Two people have been charged with conspiracy to murder on Isle of Wight.

It's following a serious assault on a 51 year old man in Newport Street in Ryde last November

The man and woman are due to appear before Newport Magistrates on Saturday, March 18.


Latest Statement From Hampshire Police 

Between 11.30pm on Tuesday, November 22, and midnight on Wednesday, November 23, the 51-year-old victim was assaulted by two men and a woman on Newport Street.

The woman and one of the men left the scene in what is believed to be a red Audi.

A man and a woman were arrested at the time and on Friday 26-year-old Louise Spence from Green Street, Ryde and 49-year-old Anthony Booty from Preston Close, Ryde have been charged with conspiracy to murder and will appear before Newport Magistrates on Saturday morning, March 18.
