Man Arrested After BB Gun Fired In Southsea Pub

A man's been arrested and bailed following reports of a BB gun being fired inside a Southsea pub.
Officers received a call to the Wine Vaults in Albert Road shortly after 1.30am on Friday 27 December 2013).
Detectives are making enquiries into allegations that a man was firing a BB gun inside the pub.
No injuries have been reported so far.
Investigating officer Detective Constable Andrew Larder said:
"We are appealing to anyone who was at the 'Wine Vaults' in Albert Road on Boxing Day evening or during the early hours of Friday morning.
"A key line of enquiry is identifying witnesses who reported their concerns to door staff on the night.
"An air pistol was later recovered by door staff at the pub."
A 26-year-old man from Southsea was arrested on suspicion of possessing an imitation firearm with intent to cause fear of violence. He was questioned and released on police bail until 29 January 2014 pending further enquiries.
