Man Hurt In Attack By Gang In Southampton

A man's recovering from injuries including a fractured jaw after being beaten up by a gang of four men in Southampton.

Police are investigating the assault in the city centre that happened early last Wednesday morning, 30 July.
 
A 30-year-old man reported that he was assaulted by a group of four men, one of whom had a knife, between the West Quay Retail Park and the Asda store on Western Esplanade at some point between 4am and 7am.
 
The victim was treated in hospital for a fractured jaw along with a injury above his eye and further wounds to his neck.
 
He described the group as four black men, who were all aged in their late twenties..
