Man Attacked In Portsmouth

Police are asking for information after a man received hospital attention for cuts and bruises he received in an alleged assault.

The incident happened at 2.00am on Saturday October 13, 2012, in the Fratton Road/ London Road area.

During the reported assault, the victim, who is described as a white man, aged 48 with short dark hair, was punched to the floor and repeatedly kicked in what police are treating as a vicious crime. He would have been left with visible injuries.

Exact circumstances are under investigation and the police are appealing for anyone who may have witnessed the attack or seen the victim after the incident to contact PC White at Fratton Police Station by phoning 101.
