Man Charged With Arson After Hampshire Fire

Police have charged a 32 year old man with Arson with intent to endanger life, after a fire at an address in Draycote Road, Waterlooville on Sunday, January 23rd at about 4.30am.

Police were called to the address by the fire service at 4.39am.

A 16-year-old boy was taken to Queen Alexandra hospital suffering from smoke inhalation and remains there in serious but not life threatening condition.

The man will appear at Portsmouth Magistrates court today (Monday, January 24) on the given charges.
