Man Falls From Southsea Flat

A man has been taken to hospital by air ambulance after falling from a block of flats in Southsea.

Police were called to the flats in Carlton Court, South Parade at 8.25 am this morning ( Saturday 23rd November).

A spokesperson for the force said: "The man received serious injuries in the fall. He has been taken to hospital by air ambulance.

"Officers are taking witness statements and conducting enquiries at the scene to confirm exactly what happened. We would like to thank members of the public who have helped police with their enquiries so far.

"Anyone who was in the South Parade or Clarence Road area at around 8.20am this morning (Saturday) can contact police by phoning 101. The Mini-com number, which is used by deaf and hard of hearing callers,
has changed to Minicom TextRelay 18001 101.
