Man Flashes Girl In Southampton

Appeal after man who flashes at 12-year-old in Southampton.

Police in Southampton are appealing for information after a 12-year-old girl was subjected to a flashing incident in the city.

She was walking along Coxford Road near it's junction with Abbotsfield Road at around 8.25am on Friday, November 4.

The girl was on her way to school when a man she didn't know walked up to her and exposed himself. She then ran off to the nearest house to ask for help.

The man is described as: White, in his 40s, skinny build and about 6ft tall with brown hair. He was wearing a blue jacket similar to a suit jacket and blue denim jeans.

PC Anthony Rickman who is investigating the case said: "This sort of offence is very rare in our area and we'd like to find the person responsible as quickly as possible.

"I'm appealing for witnesses or anyone who think they may have seen the man in the area or knows who he is. I would also like to hear from anyone else who may have been flashed at by him but not yet reported it."
