Man Injured In Coach And Lorry Crash

All services are at the scene of a collision between an articulated lorry and a coach at West Tytherley, on the Hampshire/Wiltshire border.

Police were called at 8.08 this morning (Tuesday, November 13), following the collision between a lorry and coach, being used as a school bus, which was fortunately empty of passengers having just dropped children off at a nearby school.

The driver of the coach was uninjured but shaken. The driver of the lorry has sustained pelvic injuries, and is still being treated at the scene by a doctor and medical staff.

The Hampshire and Isle of Wight Air Ambulance helicopter is also at the scene.

The collision occurred on a road called The Warren, opposite Warren Farm.

The road is currently blocked and is likely to remain so for some time. Drivers intending to use this road are advised to find an alternative route. We will reopen the road as soon as we are able to do so.

A police spokesperson said:

'That is all the information we have at this time, once there are further updates on this, we will let you know.'
