Men Jailed After Southampton Attack

Two men are each starting 13-year prison terms for shooting a man in the legs last year.

26-year-old Calvin Lawrence and Malachi Francis, who is 27, both from London were found guilty of wounding with intent and possessing a handgun with intent to cause fear of violence.

Southampton Crown Court heard Suraj Singh Bhakar was shot in the legs in Townhill Park last February over a drugs feud.

He needed surgery for his injuries.
