Motorcyclist Killed In Crash Near Portsmouth

A 25-year-old man's been killed in a motorbike crash near Portsmouth.

Police are appealing for witnesses after the road traffic incident at Rowlands Castle. It happened at 4.10pm at Comley Hill, Horndean Road yesterday (Sunday 28 September).

25-year-old man Joseph Butland, from Edgell Road in Westbourne, died at the scene.  

Mr Butland was riding his green and black Kawasaki motorcycle, and it's thought he collided with two vehicles before being thrown from his bike.

Police would like to hear from anyone who saw what happened, or who saw either the motorcycle or a dark coloured 4x4 prior to the incident.
