Royal Navy Officer Guilty Of Fraud

A Royal Navy commander has been found guilty of nine charges of dishonestly claiming allowances to send his two children to an exclusive boarding school.

Commander Anthony Gray claimed the money when he was no longer entitled to because he had split from his wife and was no longer the "prime'' carer of the two children, the court martial at Portsmouth Naval Base was told.

The 49-year-old, who is based at MOD Abbeywood in Bristol, was found not guilty of a further four charges of fraud.
