New Monthly Police Surgeries

Officers from the Eastney and Milton Safer Neighbourhoods teams (SNTs) will be holding a new monthly beat surgery for residents and business owners of the area.

The event, which will  take place at Beddow Library on Milton Road, will be an ideal opportunity for members of the public to speak to local police officers about any issues they feel they have in their community.

PCSO Nicola Manning of the Eastney and Milton SNTs said: “We hold regular beat surgeries throughout the Milton and Eastney areas, and encourage people to come down for a chat or to raise any concerns they have about the neighbourhood. The information we receive from members of the community helps us focus on the area, and ensures we are effectively targeting the most prevalent issues - your voice really does count.”

Police will also be giving advice on crime prevention and general safety guidance throughout the summer months.

The first beat surgery at Beddow Library will take place on Tuesday, July 20, and will run from 5.30pm until 6.30pm. Look out for future dates on community posters or at the web address below.
