BAA which runs Southampton airport says passenger numbers are down because of the BA cabin crew strike.
It says it handled 9-point-5 million passengers in June - a fall of 1-point-7 per cent on the same month last year.
Without the action, it estimates that Heathrow alone would have seen 140 thousand more passengers, an increase of 2-point-5 per cent.
