Man Charged Over New Forest Sex Attack
Hampshire detectives have charged a man with rape following an incident at Ashurst in the New Forest on Sunday morning (May 13).
Timothy Stephen Foster, 26, of no fixed abode, is charged with one offence of rape and one further offence of sexual assault.
He will appear before magistrates in Southampton today (Wednesday, May 16).
The charges follow an incident which occurred about 200 yards from Ashurst Railway line, in which a 55-year-old woman was attacked and raped.
