South Coast's First Indoor Skydiving

22 June 2013, 05:59

A £6million indoor skydiving centre opens in Hampshire - the only one of its kind on the South Coast.

25 jobs have been created at Airkix Basingstoke.

It recreates the experience of jumping out of a plane at 150mph.

Simon Ward, Chief Executive of Airkix said: “Our opening is bang on schedule and we are hugely excited about the initial customer reaction to all the great facilities we’ve included in the centre. These are not rides but the real thing and available to just about everyone aged between 4 and 104 in reasonable health to come and enjoy”.
