Teenager Charged Over Stabbing

Police are appealing for information after a man sustained minor stab wounds during an altercation on Allaway Avenue, Paulgrove.

The incident happened just after 4.45pm on Thursday, July 19. 

A 20-year-old man from Portsmouth sustained wounds to his arm pit area which required treatment at Queen Alexandra Hospital. 

Police are appealing to anyone who may have witnessed the incident in Allaway Avenue or the build up to it to contact them. 

A 16-year-old boy was arrested and charged with attempted grievous bodily harm. He appeared at South Hampshire Youth Court in Fareham on Monday, July 23. 

Three others were arrested in connection with this incident and later released with no further action.
