Teenager Sexually Assualted

Detectives in Southampton are investigating an allegation that a 19-year-old woman was sexually assaulted in a park.
An area of Palmerston Park in the city centre has been cordoned off while officers carry out a search of the area. This is where the incident is believed to have happened between midnight and 1am on Sunday, January 9.
Officers are appealing for any witnesses who were in the area at the time and may have seen anything suspicious. Anyone with information is asked to call Shirley CID on 101 or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
Police say they won't release anymore details about the attack untilt the victim has been interviewed again.
