A 12 year old boy's been robbed for just £13 at Gunwharf Quays.
A victim was walking to the cinema with a friend, a 13-year-old boy, when he was approached by an older boy who's accused of threatening to attack him if he did not hand over money.
The victim gave £13 to the older boy who walked away without assaulting him.
The robbery took place outside Burger King in Gunwharf Quays sometime between 4.45pm and 5.15pm on Friday, July 29, 2011.
The suspect was described as:
> Aged between 16 and 18
> Slim build
> Blond hair
> Pale complexion
He was wearing a white hooded top, pulled up, with toggles on the hood.
The suspect was with a group of other youths who had been hanging around near a Subway sandwich shop.
A Hampshire Constabulary spokesman said:
"This robbery is reported to have happened in broad daylight where there would have been many people at a busy time of day. Detectives believe that somebody would have seen the suspect and the group of youths. We would also appeal to the other youths who were with the suspect to identify him. This was a cowardly attack on a young boy who was out to enjoy himself. Instead he had his day ruined by this crime."
