Several Hurt After M3 Minibus Crash

A woman's been left in a life threatening injuries after a minibus crashed on the M3 in Hampshire.

The collision happened at 9.48am on the southbound carriageway between junctions 5 and 6 at Old Basing.

A group of ten Romanian nationals on holiday, were involved when the driver of the minibus lost control following a suspected blown tyre.
 
The minibus, which had been travelling in lane three (the fast lane), crossed the carriageway and left the road where it overturned, throwing at least two passengers from the vehicle in the process.
 
The southbound carriageway, at junction 5 to 6, reopened on Wednesday afternoon.

Police are appealing for anyone who saw the collision to contact Whitchurch Roads policing Unit on 101, quoting Operation Woodruff.
