Two People Arrested Over An Assault in Southampton

Police have made two arrests as part of Operation Kings, the investigation into a serious assault in Southampton on Tuesday, June 8.


At around 11.35pm, a 24-year-old man on a bike was beaten up by a group of people on Central Bridge.
 
The man was taken to Southampton General Hospital with serious head injuries and remains in a critical condition.
 
An 18-year-old woman and 26-year-old man, both from the Southampton area, were today arrested on suspicion of attempted murder, and are both currently in police custody.
