Police are looking for anyone who witnessed a woman being confronted by a road rage driver in Whiteley.

At around 4.45pm, on Sunday March 30, a 52-year-old woman was driving a grey Land Rover on Whiteley Way.

She and her family were returning home following a Mother’s Day outing. For an unknown reason a man driving a black Ford C-max stopped his car at the roundabout, got out and started shouting and swearing whilst approaching the Land Rover.

The victim drove on, but was followed by the C-max. The man approached the Land Rover on foot again at the pedestrian crossing between the two large roundabouts. He banged on the front passenger side window while shouting and swearing.

The C-max was last seen following the Land Rover at the Segensworth roundabout. No one was injured. The man is described as in his mid thirties, with ginger stubble and short hair. He was wearing jeans and a t-shirt.
