Woman Hit By Bus In Portsmouth
Police are appealing for witnesses following a collision involving a single-decker bus and a female pedestrian on Market Way near Cascades Approach in Portsmouth.
The woman, aged in her 50s, sustained leg injuries in the collision and was taken to Queen Alexandra Hospital in a serious, but not life-threatening condition.
No-one on the bus was injured.
It happened shortly after 2pm on Thursday December the 1st.
Market Way was closed for over an hour while collision investigators examined the scene and the vehicle involved. It was reopened just after 3.30pm.
Anyone with any information is asked to contact Fratton Roads Policing Unit on 101.
