Woman Kicked In Face In Havant Attack

A woman's been pushed to the ground and kicked in the face - in an unprovoked assault in Havant.

At approximately 2.30am on Friday 13 March, the 25-year-old woman was walking home along Crondall Avenue near an alleyway connecting Crondall Avenue with Danesbury Close in Leigh Park.

A group of three men appeared from this alleyway; one of them is alleged to have pushed her to the floor and kicked her in the face before all three ran away.

Police say this was 'a cowardly, unprovoked attack' that the left the victim shaken and hurt with bruising to her face.

Police are appealing to anyone who lives in the area of Crondall Avenue and Danesbury Close to come forward with any information that may assist the investigation

A police spokesperson said:

"Perhaps you were woken by a loud noise or rowdy behaviour that gave you cause to look out of your window at around the time of the incident?

"Alternatively you may have been making your own way home and recall seeing a group of three men who you may know?

"Any information you have, however minor you feel it may be, could assist in the development of this investigation."
