At the beginning of each year Torbay Carnival Committee start the extensive search for Miss Torbay by holding a number of photo shoots at various locations within the bay.

Miss Torbay and her Ladies in Waiting have been part of Torbay Carnival for over 50 years; Miss Torbay is not a beauty contest and is a great opportunity for contestant’s to show off their personality, ideals and ambitions, it is a great experience.

The winning contestants represent Torbay; by attending various civic functions, fund raisers, opening charity and school fetes, travel throughout South Devon attending carnivals and meeting some very lovely and interesting people along the way.

If you think you could be the next Miss Torbay and are over 16, single and live in the Torbay area come along to a photo shoot that’s near you. We ask if you are under 18 we require a parents/guardians signature.

Wednesday 20th March- Rehearsal, Beverley Park,Goodrington Road, Paignton, TQ4 7JE


Saturday 23rd March-GRAND FINAL, Beverley Park,Goodrington Road, Paignton, TQ4 7JE

Registration for all photo shoots is from 7:15pm with shoots taking place between 7:30pm and 8:30pm
