Tell us who you are running for?: I am running for the Down's Syndrome Association.  My son Harry was born almost 10 years ago with this conditon, which affects 1 in every 1000 babies.  I am raising money to say a huge thank you to the Association for their help and support over the years....My fundraising page is uk.virginmoneygiving.com/Tracie.Passfield

How has training been going? The training has been mixed!! Fitness levels are fairly good now.  Bearing in mind that 18months ago I couldnt make it 100 yards without being out of breath!! I can now run 13 miles in approx 1h45 mins and loving it! With sheer determination and hard work anyone can do it!

Who you are running for?: Essex Air Ambulance
How has training been going? Training was good up to a slight knee injury two weeks ago but hopefully after some rest will be ok on the day. Was hoping for 3hours 30 mins but with the predicted weather it might be nearer 3hours 45 mins. I will be 50 on 5th may so wanted to beat my time of 3hours 51 mins I did when I was 32 just to prove Im not over the hill just yet. Thank you to everyone who has supported me during my training.

How has training been going? Extremely hard-especially through the cold winter and snow!! We are hoping to run between 4-5hours!!

Tell us who you are running for?: My name is Clare and I am running for the Stickler Sydrome Support Group this is my fourth marathon and I've raised £6,000 over previous years! I work at Hempsted Valley Shopping Centre as Centre Receptionist and they are all rooting for me at work!
How has training been going? What time are you hoping for?: It was really hard in the snow at the beginning of the year, but i managed to fit in some long runs once from Lordswood to Sittingbourne and back! I'm hoping for my personal best of 3 hours 38 minutes.

How has training been going? What time are you hoping for?: Just hoping to finish! I've been training over the past six months and have been really pleased with the level of support from family and friends in their kind donations.

I am running for freinds of Cynthia Spencer hospice. Sadly cancer has taken lots of freinds and loved ones who have been cared for in cynthia spencer hospice and i would like to raise money in memory of them.
How has training been going?
Training with many freinds has been good, however most of it this year was in snow not sun,i would like to do under 5.30 but finishing safely is my goal. It's my 6th London Marathon.

Who you are running for?: Childrens Liver Disease Foundation www.childliverdisease.org (because my son Luke (now 5 on marathon day!!) was born with liver disease and this is the only charity supporting the illness).
How has training been going? Training going well but hard, first marathon!! It will be worth it to raise lots of money. would be chuffed with anything in the 5 hour mark. just want to get round the course!

Who are you running for? Newmarket Racing Welfare!! I work for a top Race Horse Trainer in Newmarket and was due to run last years Marathon but I was kicked in the head by a horse and suffered a depressed fracture of the skull and broken nose and had a 7 hr op to save my life. I'm 27 and now living my dream thanks to mu fitness which saved my life and also Addenbrookes Hospital and the huge support from Racing Welfare. How has training been going? My training has been very good considering a year ago i nearly died. I started off with gentle exercise after my accident as i was not allowed to much pressure on my head. I'm now fighting fit and cannot wait for Sunday. I've been running, biking and also completing 100 lengths of Newmarket Swimming Pool.

How has training been going?: The training is going really well.  I am hoping to beat my time from 2008 which was 4.38.  Wish me luck.  Should be ok, if it is not too hot.

Who are you running for? I'm running/ walking/ hobbling and probably crawling for Tuberous Sclerosis- a complex genetic condition that affects my sister. It involves tumours on all organs on the body, and most people who suffer from TS also have autism and epilepsy. My fundraising page is www.justgiving.com/freyadavey
How has training been going?
Training hasn't been too successful- I have been plagued with injury and illness and any hope of time has gone out the window. But I am determined to finish as I have raised over £2000 and some awareness for Tuberous Sclerosis

Who are you running for? Help the Hospices. My daughter Rebecca died at the age of 24 at St Peter and St James hospice North Chailey after a short illness. My other daughter Laura who ran in the Brighton marathon is also running the London Marathon with me
How has training been going? Really well for an old unfit, or at least I was unfit until I started training, novice. I now know every inch of the cuckoo trail. I hope to complete the run in about 5 hours
