See the trailer for The Tempest here.

the tempestHelen Mirren’s latest movie is a big-screen adaptation of Shakespeare's mystical thriller THE TEMPEST, directed by Academy Award nominee Julie Taymor. The film changes the gender of the sorcerer Prospero into a Prospera the sorceress, played by Oscar-winner Helen Mirren (The Queen). Her journey spirals through vengeance to forgiveness as she reigns over a magical island, cares for her young daughter, Miranda (Felicity Jones), and unleashes her powers against shipwrecked enemies in this exciting, masterly mix of romance, tragicomedy and the supernatural.

With an amazing cast that also includes Russell Brand, Alfred Molina, Djimon Hounsou, Chris Cooper and Ben Whishaw, this is a real cinematic treat.

It’s showing in selected cinemas from March 4 and we'll be offering the chance for 20 listeners to get their hands on one of 20 pairs of tickets at cinemas across the Heart Netwrok (from the list below) in exchange for a £10 charity donation.
