Taste Of London, 15th to 19th June
Get ready for a summer of gastronomic delights as foodies will be given a word-class culinary experience with flavours from around the world as Celebrity Cruises returns to Taste of London to bring their luxury restaurants and bars to the big city.
Delight your taste buds with a selection of three food & wine pairings, designed exclusively by Michelin starred chef Cornelius Gallagher and indulge in a selection of wines hand-picked from Celebrity Cruises collection, which is the largest and rarest at sea.
The Secret Garden, Kent
A hideaway in the country, which is famous for it’s green and leafy theme, as well as the feeling of being in a place unknown to the general public. It is rarely empty, but when it is it seems as if it has been untouched by a human hand, aside from the tables and chairs dotted across the lawn. The talented chefs in the restaurant’s kitchen neatly put the food together. The venue would be great for a wedding, however the spot is also fantastic for a summer meal.
Tower Restaurant, Edinburgh
An elegant food journey, with well presented dishes and stunning views over the world famous city of Edinburgh. The outdoor section of the restaurant is the perfect place to view a crisp sunset on a winter’s afternoon, or bask in the sun’s rays in the summer months. Being based atop the National Museum of Scotland, it has interesting exhibits beneath the restaurant itself. The menu is diverse and refined, with seafood being a known strength of the eatery.
The River Exe Café, Exmouth
This restaurant is situated on a pontoon on a calm river in Exmouth. The fish is sourced literally from the rivers that surround the restaurant before being taken, by boat to this beautiful setting. The fresh air and astounding sights are enough to entice anyone to eat at this small and intimate seafood shack.

Al Fresco, Brighton
Fancy an Italian? Well this eating-house is right on the beach, and whilst it has both indoor and outdoor dining, the terrace is the perfect area to relax and dine in style. The building is reminiscent of a ship, with floor to ceiling windows to cover the indoor section, and multiple levels of al fresco space to show off the stunning shore and outlook onto the beach and sea.

Crab and Lobster Inn, Isle of Wight
This picture perfect pub is the perfect family setting. Overlooking landscapes to rival any postcard it’s just a short walk to the shore and all it’s seafood dishes are locally sourced. The al fresco garden area is a perfect spot for a late lunch by the sea and the picturesque location makes for an interesting and quiet backdrop to the varied and exquisite menu. From seafood platters to steaks, this spot really has it all.
Coq D’argent, London
Have lunch in this leafy garden that takes you to the French countryside, whilst remaining in the centre of the city. This French eatery in central London is known for it’s delicious cuisine and breath-taking views of world-renowned structures. This leafy garden is open and overlooks a space in the building that comprises of brightly coloured windows. This green space it is not only a restaurant, but also an experience.

Petersham Nurseries, Richmond
A small hideaway, merely a train ride from the bustle of London in a tranquil location. The café serves food daily, to an outside area that is best visited in the spring or summer time. The often sun drenched space is draped in plants and ivy climbing around the basic frame of the nurseries’ restaurant area. The shabby chic theme is uniform throughout the area, with plants strewn around, mainly decorating the tables. Despite originally being simply a plant growing facility, the now converted restaurant has a clear theme that suits it well.
The Mark Addy, Manchester
This quirky riverside restaurant is situated on the River Irwell and boasts one of the largest outdoor eating spaces in the city. The space has been transformed from an old waiting area for the Irwell ferry during the 1800s. This historic and charismatic riverside retreat is a culinary experience and is close to a ferry service, taking many to Old Trafford and on a riverside tour each and every day.
Dishoom has a great outdoor area, which is fantastic for a break from the busy city. The Shoreditch restaurant gives you a taste of India, within the confines of the garden setting. There is wooden furniture covered in soft cushions, making for a comfy al fresco meal. Dishoom prides itself on its food and excellent service, with the Mumbai theme spread across the whole scene. The Shoreditch branch of the restaurant chain is an essential stop-off for any fan of Indian food, giving an authentic insight into Indian culture with a price tag that is not too heavy at all.
