The grammy-award singer has been showing off a slender figure in recent months, and the secrets to her diet have been revealed.

If you fancy losing a few inches off your waistline line then having a cuppa could help you shift the pounds.

A new celebrity diet heralds green tea as one of it's plant-based foods, along with kale and buckwheat that helps suppress the appetite and activate the body's 'skinny gene'.

MailOnline reports the Sirt Food Diet, along with a fitness plan from personal trainer Peter Geracimo, was the secret to Adele's slender new look and the diet plan is a fave with a number of other Hollywood stars.

Followers of the diet are encouraged to eat foods high in sirituns, also known as the 'housekeeping gene', because they help control the way our bodies handle fat and sugar in addition to keeping your urge to snack during the day under control.  

Along with what can only be described as a gruelling work out plan, it's thought Adele packed in the green tea, cocoa powder and turmeric into her meal plan as they all contain high doses of siritun.

It's no secret Adele is looking fabulous as of late, and she showed the results of her hard work when she released the video for her new single 'Send My Love' this week.

Don't fear though, she hasn't been starving herself and neither will you! According to the diet you can still indulge in foods like wine and cheese!
