Cadbury Tiffin

This is not a drill! Cadbury are bringing back their Dairy Milk Tiffin!

For those who don't remember, it was a raisin and chocolate filled bar of Dairy Milk that was first produced in 1937 but fell out of production first in 1972 and then 2003.

Between 1972 and 1985 we lived in a time without Tiffin bars, but that was only a thirteen year stretch. But it's now been a long 15 years since they were withdrawn from production in the early noughties and many fans of Cadbury's will be delighted to know they can buy them again!

Cadbury's Tiffin

The reason for the previous discontinuation of the bar was part of a relaunch campaign for Cadbury Dairy Milk, but Tiffin lovers weren't happy and according to Cadbury Dairy Milk band manager Katrina Davson they have been "passionately campaigning" for it's return ever since.

She told The Independent "The response has always been incredibly overwhelming which is why we bought it back for a limited time last summer".

“By reviving an old classic such as Cadbury Dairy Milk Tiffin it enables Cadbury to reignite fond memories and instill that warm, nostalgic feeling that our fans have towards our much loved chocolate.”

Cadbury haven't revealed the launch date for the bar yet but have urged chocolate fans to keep "their eyes peeled for more exciting news".
