How many times have you woken up on a Saturday morning with a splitting headache, dry mouth and an overriding sense of BEER FEAR due to the horrendously embarrassing things that happened the night before?

Well, your prayers may finally have been answered!

Apparently there is now a hangover-free alcohol that is set to revolutionise the way we function the day after a late night drinking session.

A new synthetic form of booze - "alcosynth" - aims to imitate the positive sides of drinking, but reportedly comes with few of the side effects.

Sorry what?!

If these grand claims prove true, it means that nausea, banging headaches or the dreaded "alcohol blues" (normally experienced after one too many Gin and Tonics!) could finally be a thing of the past.

The potentially revolutionary breakthrough has even been championed by Professor David Nutt, the Government's former drugs advisor!

What's more, it hasn't been compromised on taste either, and is thought to make a pretty tasty mix of cocktails.

He told the Independent: “It will be there alongside the scotch and the gin, they'll dispense the alcosynth into your cocktail and then you'll have the pleasure without damaging your liver and your heart.

“They go very nicely into mojitos. They even go into something as clear as a Tom Collins. One is pretty tasteless, the other has a bitter taste."

It almost sounds too good to be true!
