There's FURY As Quality Street Remove THIS Sweet From The Tin!

The good news is that they're replacing it with a whole NEW chocolatey delight.

Fan FURY As Quality Street Remove THIS Sweet From

Nestle have left fans feeling downright upset as they have announced that they will be removing one of our favourite sweets from the Quality Street tin.

Chill out, it's not the purple one or the green triangle. It is however the oldest sweet in the tin: the Toffee Delux.

Just so we're clear, it's the chunky confectionary that's coated in chocolatey goodness and wrapped in brown paper.

Having decided that there were too many toffee based sweets in the tin, it was time to sacrifice one.

Like all change, this one was greeted with anger from keen Quality Street consumers:

HOWEVER...

It's not all tragic news because it looks like there's a new, honeycomb based confectionary in town.

A spokesperson for Nestle said: “We wanted to celebrate Quality Street’s 80th birthday by introducing the first new sweet for nearly a decade.

"We did extensive research and found that the Honeycomb Crunch was the most popular option for a new sweet and that many people felt there were enough toffee based sweets in the collection so the Toffee Deluxe made way."

And those die-hard Toffee Deluxe fans can still get their hands on the goodies if they're desperate and don't like change.

The spokesperson added: "Toffee Deluxe fans can still find the sweet in our Quality Street Toffee & Fudge pack which contains the Toffee Deluxe alongside the Toffee Finger, Toffee Penny and Fudge.

"Those who also want to try the Honeycomb Crunch can find both sweets in a limited edition tin exclusive to Tesco stores.”
