Marc Jacob to move to Dior?

Louis Vuitton's designer in line for John Galliano's old job

The LVMH group, which owns both Dior and Louis Vuitton, has been looking around to replace disgraced creative director Galliano, after he lost his job at Dior due to alleged racial abuse.

Marc Jacobs is likely to take over from the Gibraltar-born enfant terrible of fashion.

If the American designer does move to Dior from Vuitton, the most talked about name to replace him is that of British designer Phoebe Philo, currently at Céline, another label under the LVMH brand.
