Mary Portas launches shoe range for Clarks
The fashionista and TV personality has designed a line for the British shoe makers
Portas will be launching her range for Clarks on September 15th at the brand's London store, 260 Oxford Street.
She will be at the shop to give fashion advice and introduce her line between 6.30 pm and 9 pm.
A limited edition collection consisting of 25 lines across nine styles, ‘Mary & Clarks’ includes - La Portas, an edgy black ankle boot wedge; La Wesley, a super-chic platform court; La Magdalene, a sexy satin evening sandal and La Stuart, the perfect stack heeled 70’s inspired knee high boot. The range comes in neutral bright colours and fabrics with seasonal highlights that for AW11 include pops of hot pink, teal and dark oxblood.
“It has long been a fantasy of mine to collaborate with Clarks” Portas says. “To me, Clarks’ shoes represent the best practice of British design, quality and comfort at an affordable price. When the opportunity arose to create a fashion collection with Clarks aimed at stylish modern women, I couldn’t wait to get started.”
Packaged in their own specially designed, luxury shoe box, ‘Mary & Clarks’ will be exclusively available in selected Clarks’ stores across the UK and online at clarks.com from 14th September.
On October 5th Portas will also appear at the Clarks stores in 25 New Street in Birmingham between 12.30 and 3pm and in Manchester at 47 Market Street, Arndale Centre between 6 and 9 in the evening.
