Vogue's Grace Coddington to pen memoir

The stylist and star of The September Issue in $1.2M book deal

Coddington, the creative director of American Vogue is reportedly getting paid over a million dollars by publisher Random House to pen her autobiography.

The Welsh former model was the star of fashion documentary The September Issue, in which she was seen often disagreeing with American Vogue's editor Anna Wintour, a much feared figure in fashion who inspired the best selling book "The Devil Wears Prada".

Speaking to fashion website WWD, Coddington has said that she wants her memoir to be more about fashion than herself.
