Detectives investigating a double shooting at a travellers site have released a man on bail after he was arrested yesterday on suspicion of murder.

On the evening of Tuesday 15 March, 29-year-old David Castell and 20-year-old Shane Hill, both from Southend in Essex were shot at Willow Park in Beck Row near RAF Mildenhall.

Provisional post-mortem examination results showed that they died from gunshot wounds.

A 37-year-old man from Cambridgeshire was arrested yesterday outside Suffolk on suspicion of murder and was questioned by police.

The man has been released on police bail pending further enquiries until Wednesday 18th May 2011.  For security reasons police are not releasing the location of the police station in Suffolk at which he must report.

Two men from the Mildenhall area remain on police bail after having already been arrested in connection with the murders.
