Brantham: Teen Assaulted And Robbed

A teenager's been knocked unconscious and robbed by three men in Brantham in Suffolk over the weekend.

Police are appealing for witnesses following a robbery that happened yesterday in Brantham.

The incident happened in Factory Lane, between 3.45pm and 4.15pm. A 19-year-old man was walking along a footpath next to the brownie hut. The victim approached three men, who assaulted him causing him to fall to the ground and lose consciousness. When he awoke he realised his mobile had been stolen.

He sustained injuries to his face and was taken to Colchester Hospital, where he has since been released.
