Police say they aren't treating the death of a man found in a river in Bungay in Suffolk as suspicious.

Officers were called at around 12:20pm on Saturday by a member of the public who reported seeing a body in the river Waveney near to Waveney Valley Campsite.

Emergency services went to the scene off the A143, near the overbridge at Outney and the man was taken out of the water and despite attempts to resuscitate him, he was pronounced deceased.

A file will now be prepared for the coroner.
