Bury St Edmunds: Seven Rescued From Flat Fire

Seven people have been rescued from a flat fire in Bury St Edmunds.


Three fire crews from Bury St Edmunds were called to a flat fire in Glastonbury Road at around 3.30am Saturday, April 13.

Two people had to be rescued from the roof after smoke in the hallway stopped them getting out of the two storey building.

A further 5 people were led to safety. 

The incident was under control an hour later.

Heart's being told the cause of the fire is now under investigation.
