Bury St Edmunds: Teens In Hit And Run
Police are looking for the driver of a car which hit two 17-year-old pedestrians in Bury St Edmunds and drove off.
It happened at around 6pm on Monday 25 February on the A1101 Fornham Road at the junction with Thingoe Hill.
The pedestrians, both male, were crossing the junction when the car came down Thingoe Hill and struck them as it passed. An ambulance was called and the individuals sustained minor ankle and foot injuries.
The female driver of the car did not stop as a result of this. There is not a clear description of the vehicle, only that it may have been a light green people carrier.
Anyone with information in relation to this crime should contact PC Mike Geeson at Bury St Edmunds Police Station on 101 or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555111.
