E-Fit Of Man After Ipswich Attack

Police have released an e-fit of the man they want to speak to after a woman was attacked in Ipswich.

A victim, in her 20s, was walking along the Burrell Road at approximately 8am on Saturday 13th December when she was approached by a man who forced her into some nearby bushes.

The man told her he had a knife, punched her, slapped her, and tried to sexually assault her.

The woman attempted to fight off the man and he ran away in the direction of Ipswich train station.

 The man is believed to have spoken with a London accent and is described as wearing a light blue shell suit top with a hood and a large V shape on the back.

 Anyone who witnessed the incident or who has any information that could help police with their enquiries is asked to contact Ipswich CID on 101 quoting reference number IC/14/5161.
