Great Cornard: Man Arrested After Children Approached

A 64 year old man has been arrested after reports of children being approached in Great Cornard.

Police received three reports yesterday, Thursday 31 January of children being approached by a man between 3:30pm and 5:30pm. 

This afternoon police have arrested a man from the Sudbury area on suspicion of common assault.

He has been taken to the Bury St Edmunds Police Investigation Centre where he awaits questioning.
