Grundisburgh Ram Raid

Police are appealing for information after cash and cigarettes were stolen following a ram raid at a shop in Grundisburgh in Suffolk.

Officers were called at 2:20am on Sunday morning to reports of a break in at a convenience store in Woodbridge Road. A car had been reversed into the front doors of the shop to get in. Once inside the offenders had stolen cigarettes and a till before driving off.

It's believed that three people were involved and were driving an estate car. Police will be reviewing CCTV and speaking to people in the area today.

Anyone with information is asked to contact Leiston CID on 101 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
