Hadleigh: Petrol Tanker Arson Causes £500,000 Of Damage
Police say a fire at an industrial estate in Hadleigh has caused £500,000 pounds worth of damage.
The fire involved three petrol tankers with 60,000 litres of fuel and took 50 firefighters to bring it under control.
Detective Inspector Nick Power said: "We're not linking the arson on Friday night to any other recent incidents in the area at this time but we are keeping an open mind.
"Arson is a reckless act that we take very seriously. Officers are currently examining evidence and conducting enquiries to identify offenders.
"We're appealing for anyone who may have information on this incident to come forward and speak to us. Even a small piece of information could prove vital to the investigation."
