Helmingham: Police Name Motorcyclist Killed In Crash

Police have named a motorcyclist killed in a crash in Helmingham as 28-year-old Daniel Kemp.

The emergency services were called at around 7pm on Sunday, after a Suzuki motorcycle collided with a tree along the B1079, Otley Road at Helmingham.

A volunteer doctor from the Suffolk Accident Rescue Service charity (SARS) helped the paramedics at the scene.

The rider of the motorcycle, Daniel Kemp, from Westerfield Road in Ipswich, was taken to Ipswich Hospital where he died.

Police are still looking for witnesses and are keen to hear from anyone who had been travelling along the B1079 (Otley to Debenham road) or parked a car nearby on the day of the collision.
