Ipswich: Assault Outside Bar

Police are appealing for witnesses after a man was punched in the head outside a bar in Tacket Street, Ipswich.

It happened at around 3.30am on Saturday 14 January a 22-year-old man had just left the bar when he was punched in the head causing him to fall to the ground. He was then kicked in the head, sustaining two broken teeth.

The offender is described as a white man, aged late 20s to early 30s, cropped hair receding at the front, clean shaven and was wearing dark trousers and a dark coloured long sleeved top. At the time of the incident the offender was not wearing shoes.
