Ipswich Attempted Murder: Five Bailed

Five people arrested on suspicion of attempted murder after a man was stabbed in Ipswich have been released on police bail.

Police were called to a disturbance at a property on Witney Close in Ipswich just before 5am on Friday 6 April. When they arrived a man was found with serious stab wounds and has been taken to Ipswich Hospital for treatment where he remains.

Five people were arrested at the scene and taken to the Martlesham Police Investigation Centre. 

Two 23-year-old women; a 20-year-old man; a 21-year-old man; and a 24-year-old woman, all from Ipswich, have since been released on police bail. They are due to return on Monday 21 May 2012.
